Trappist beer without alcohol

La Trappe Nillis is the world’s first alcohol-free (0.0%) Trappist beer. Enjoy a non-alcoholic Belgian ale with a smooth, refreshing taste, fruity notes, and a light bitterness.

It features a rich amber colour and a creamy white head. On the nose, you’ll find fruity, citrus, and herbal aromas, along with malty notes and a light touch of spice. On the palate, it’s smooth, fresh, and balanced, with a fruity flavor and a slight bitterness on the finish.

This alcohol-free amber ale is brewed in a manner similar to Trappist beers, utilising pure water, malt, hops, and yeast. It undergoes a double fermentation; in the second fermentation, special yeasts are used to eliminate the alcohol without compromising its original flavour and aroma. All ingredients are of the highest quality.

Trappe Nillis 0.0 is very versatile in terms of food pairing, making it ideal for accompanying light meals, salads, fish, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. Its smooth and balanced flavour makes it perfect for pairing with foods that don’t require a very strong or complex beer.

La Trappe is a Dutch beer brewed by the Trappist Abbey of Koningshoeven in the Netherlands, founded in 1884. It was the only Trappist abbey brewing beer outside of Belgium until the recent opening of Zundert Trappist, also in the Netherlands. The abbey remains home to the Trappist monks who brew the beer, following the centuries-old tradition that is an integral part of their monastic life. During its early years, the brewery primarily produced beer for the abbey’s internal consumption, but over time, it began selling locally. In the 1920s, the monks started producing Trappist beers and quickly gained a strong reputation for their quality.
