Whenever he has the chance, Paco León recommends alcohol-free drinks. “The different 0.0” is the new campaign starring Paco León to promote Tanqueray 0.0, the Scottish alcohol-free gin. The popular actor and director is aware that abstaining from alcohol is the best way not to lose weight and to be at full strength. Because Leon knows that, to enjoy the party, alcohol is not necessary. He also knows that 0.0 drinks are just as satisfying as the alcoholic versions, or even more.

 

In fact, the campaign for non-alcoholic gin Tnauqeray 0.0 is not the first time León has collaborated with an alcohol-free drink brand. Previously, he had done so in 2013 with alcohol-free beer Buckler 0.0. On that occasion it was a charity short film whose profits went to cancer research. Furthermore, the actor acknowledged sharing the values of alcohol-free drink brands.

Supporting good causes

The short film, Otra vuelta a la tortilla, (Flipping over the omelette) is, according to the director himself, “An everyday love story, in which the protagonist has the option of facing it as any other woman would. She has to leave her fears behind and move on. The people around her support her and help her to make the right decisions. In short, an emotional story that doesn’t try to make us cry, but on the contrary, to bring out a smile full of hope and illusion”.

Not only is it a great film that obtained funding for research, but also, with this short film, the artist captured with tenderness and humour the reality of many women suffering from breast cancer. His intention was to “destigmatise” the disease in order to continue looking at life with optimism. Hence his slogan “there is always a reason to celebrate”. And better with alcohol-free drinks.

Controversy

The artist is a person surrounded by a certain amount of light controversy, for declaring himself openly bisexual or because many have not seen it as very elegant to put his mother Carmina Barrios in front of a camera to star in Carmina o revienta. However, one thing that is indisputable is her philanthropic side. He is a person who cares about others and that is why he is very conscious of offering his image, and his collaboration, only to good causes. For this reason, Paco León recommends alcohol-free drinks.

León once again lent his support to a solidarity campaign in 2015. On that occasion it was in an action called La rueda de la felicidad, promoted by Euromaster in collaboration with the Red Cross. Their aim was that children from underprivileged families could have their presents for Christmas. He also collaborates regularly, together with her colleague Raquel Revuelta with the Seville Food Bank, to help the neediest families.
