Origin of the Moderato brand
Co-founders Sébastien and Fabien are great wine lovers and want to enjoy it more often. In 2020, like good French people, they started the Revolution by creating a wine that was just as good, but without alcohol. They sought out the best winegrowers, vineyards and dealcoholizing methods to achieve this.
Today they continue to revolutionize the industry by creating more refined non-alcoholic wines that everyone can enjoy. Because, as the brand says, if we can stop or reduce our alcohol consumption without stopping enjoying it, we will be free to drink at any time. Free to surprise those around us, to not count calories (because there are almost none) and to have fun without playing with our health. Before it was unthinkable, and now it is a reality.

Cuvée Revolutionnaire
The most premium range of Moderato. Made with a unique and revolutionary dealcoholizing system. These non-alcoholic wines have less than <0.5% alcohol. Discover their delicious non-alcoholic white wine made with Colombard grapes and their non-alcoholic red wine made with Merlot and Tannat.
Original Cuvée
High-quality 0.0% alcohol wines, to enjoy the pleasure of French wines. The alcohol-free sparkling wine was one of Moderato’s first products. You can’t miss the alcohol-free rosé wine, made with Colombard and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
These alcohol-free wines have been approved by the best sommeliers and professionals. Marie Wodecki, the best young sommelier of France in 2023, says “Just amazing”.
The dealcoholizing method
The company is based in the southwest of France and has the first dealcoholizing centre and R&D Laboratory in France. They have developed their dealcoholizing process that respects the integrity of the wine and maintains its organoleptic qualities.
The method they use is low-temperature vacuum distillation. The aim is to preserve the aromatic structure of each wine as much as possible. In addition, they use a respectful method that removes alcohol while preserving aromas and flavours. From the selection of the best grapes to the final tasting, each step is rigorously controlled to guarantee a high-quality non-alcoholic wine.
